Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available

MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
- Work 10-hour shifts with typical start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM
- Weekend and call rotation required
- No holiday requirements
- No call or standby requirements
- Perform routine, stroke, and trauma imaging studies
- Complete 25-30 scans/studies per day on average
- Responsibilities include patient transport, clerical duties, patient prep, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs, and EMR navigation/documentation
- Work with 2 MRI scanners in the department
- No floating to other areas required
- Must have 2 years of MRI experience and MRI certification
- GE experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Verification
- Active Illinois license required
- Use Epic EMR system and McKesson PACS system
- Work with GE department-specific equipment
- Professional scrubs of any color required (not provided)
- Must have tattoos covered and no body piercings besides earrings
- Radiologist in-house except for after hours
- Department-specific orientation typically during first week
- 12-hour orientation period (non-billable)
- Drug-free campus with required negative drug screen
