Job Summary
As a digital content production / communications associate or intern, you are given the task of curating digital content for marketing our company to the world in an accurate and appealing way. Through weekly blog posts, social media posts, e-mail blasts and contact with customers, you have the chance to get our company's message to thousands of people every month.A career in digital content production and communications is rewarding as you create and edit our complicated company message to our customers. Your experience in writing and digital production allows you to improve both professional and interpersonal relationships as you develop ways to sell the message to everyone you speak to.
You will also be asked to prepare your content for weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings to assess the progression of our online marketing efforts. You are a key part of the brand and message of our company.
Job Responsibilities- Creatively write content on a daily basis that spreads the message of our company in blog posts, social media posts, e-mail blasts and more.
- Create digital content assets such as images or videos to accompany your written content.
- Plan content calendar.
- Brainstorm content ideas.
- Refresh and update existing websites / web pages.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of all communication types our company is using.
- Edit and proofread all marketing materials as required.
- Multi-task and assist in other roles as required to perform the job.
Job Qualifications
Required- Creative writer
- Experience with social media, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc...
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with basic computer programs such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Team-oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment
- Experience in creative writing, digital content production, marketing and/or communications
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, public relations, or similar fields.
