Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab or IR experience.
Details- Hospital-based Cath Lab setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts with variable start times
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures performed in this unit
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
- Minimum 3–5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab required
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, including related equipment, accessories, surgical procedures, and sterile technique
- Role involves performing and supporting both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
- Proficiency with Cath Lab equipment, accessories, and sterile technique is essential to daily responsibilities
