- Start Date: May 9, 2026
- End Date: July 4, 2026
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience (L&D RN)
- Active Minnesota RN license
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification — basic and intermediate
- Willingness to float to Postpartum unit as needed
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
- New graduates are not accepted for this position
- Provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit (Labor & Delivery RN duties)
- Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret EFM tracings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB/GYN, anesthesiology, neonatal staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and per facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Float to the Postpartum unit as needed to support patient care and staffing
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment for mothers, newborns, and families
