Job Description- Private Credit or Debt experience would be ideal
- Oversee and manage all tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide guidance on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on tax audits and inquiries.
- Support financial reporting processes by providing tax-related insights and documentation.
- Lead and mentor the tax team, fostering professional growth and development.

The Successful Applicant
A successful VP/Tax Manager should have:
- A strong background in tax compliance, planning, and reporting within the Financial Services industry.
- Private Credit or Debt experience
- Expertise in federal, state, and local tax regulations and requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies.
- Familiarity with tax software and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- A relevant degree or professional certification in accounting, taxation, or a related field.
- Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to 200,000 annually.
