- We have an opening for a Jr. Network Administrator at Hill AFB. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and configuring networks while also working with SATCOM equipment and dealing with VHF, UHF, and HF in troubleshooting capacities.
- 4 networking issues while also troubleshooting SATCOM specific problems.
- Conduct network and telecommunications system incident investigation.
- Analyze network and telecommunications alarms and identify potential issues.
- Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices such as firewalls, cryptographic devices, and routers to optimize performance and ensure the desired security posture is attained and maintained.
- Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, phone systems, including phone units, voicemail, switches, infrastructure, call manager systems, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems video recording/viewing/distribution systems, and related telecommunications trunk circuits.
- 1-2 years of hands on networking experience dealing with Cisco routers/switches, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, RIPv2)
- Possess an active CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Able to work in a shift work environment as we are a 24/7 operation.
- Experience troubleshooting, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring networks and networking equipment in LAN/WAN environments
- Experience working with equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Brocade Additional Skills & Qualifications
