Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment completion for a night shift position at an acute care hospital in the Baltimore, MD area.
Details- CT Scan department in a large acute care hospital setting (500+ bed facility experience required)
- Performs CT procedures using Siemens scanners
- Sunday through Tuesday night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour nights)
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 2 full years of CT Technologist experience
- Prior completion of at least one travel assignment required
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field
- ARRT registration required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Active Maryland state license required (license required if applicable)
- Experience with large acute care facilities (500+ beds) required
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- Perform CT procedures and operate Siemens scanners and related imaging equipment
- Interact with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff throughout the shift
- Counsel patients on radiographic procedures prior to imaging
- Assist physicians with biopsies and drainage procedures
- Obtain patient consent for intravenous injections and position patients on equipment
- Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate for this facility
