Job Description: We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Utility Person to join our team at the Auburndale plant. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for the heavy-duty cleaning of our Blending and Extrusion departments.
Key Responsibilities Floor Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, and utilizing tools to remove standing water from the shop floor to prevent slip hazards. Dust Control: Detailed dusting of equipment, surfaces, and high-traffic areas within the plant.
General Upkeep: Ensuring the Blending and Extrusion areas remain clear of debris and industrial waste. Safety Adherence: Following all plant safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free workspace. Important Work Environment Note Please be advised that this is an industrial manufacturing environment.
The facility is consistently dusty and dirty due to the nature of the blending and extrusion processes. Health Notice: Because of the high level of airborne dust and particulates, this environment may not be suitable for individuals with severe asthma or chronic respiratory sensitivities.
Qualifications Ability to perform physical labor for the duration of an 8-hour shift (standing, walking, bending, and lifting). Strong attention to detail and a "safety-first" mindset. Reliable transportation and a consistent attendance record.

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled, industrial plant setting.

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
