The Role
This position plays a key role in managing both income tax accounting/reporting and compliance(link removed) Youll have ownership over tax provisions, filings, and planning initiatives while partnering closely with accounting, FP&A, and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities- Lead preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns
- Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740)
- Prepare and review estimated tax payments and extensions
- Support tax audits and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Maintain and reconcile income tax accounts and journal entries
- Conduct tax research and monitor changes in tax law
- Partner with internal teams on tax planning and forecasting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Support strategic initiatives and business growth from a tax perspective
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA or Masters preferred)
- 58+ years of experience in tax accounting / income tax compliance
- Strong understanding of ASC 740 and corporate tax reporting
- Experience with tax software (Corptax, OneSource, or similar)
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally
