Janitor with Security Clearance
- The Janitorial Services employee performs cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in Federal facilities.
- Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchen areas, and other common spaces.
- Remove trash, recycle materials, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Work cooperatively with team members or independently to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety and security protocols, including those associated with Secret clearance requirements.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Monitor facility for cleanliness, sanitation, and safety issues, reporting concerns as necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience providing janitorial support.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic communication and organizational skills.
- Work occurs in both office, warehouse and field environments.
- May require work outside of regular business hours to address urgent technical issues or project deadlines.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and industrial settings.
