Position Overview
Our well established manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented Production Engineering Generalist to support engineering and production teams with documentation, process coordination, and shop-floor readiness. This temporary role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient production by preparing and validating critical manufacturing documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or shop floor experience who enjoys working with technical data, drawings, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Production Documentation & Engineering SupportPrepare and release production documentation including travelers, routings, bills of materials, and inspection records
Apply standard manufacturing processes and task lists to new and existing parts
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with production requirements
Process CoordinationCollaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and production teams to support timely job release
Identify and escalate discrepancies, missing information, or inconsistencies in documentation
Support efficient workflow between departments to meet production timelines
Material & Production ReadinessAssist with selecting appropriate raw materials based on engineering drawings and specifications
Help ensure materials and documentation are ready for shop floor execution
Quality & Continuous ImprovementMaintain high standards for accuracy and attention to detail
Support process improvements to enhance production efficiency and documentation accuracy
Additional SupportPerform other related tasks to support production engineering and manufacturing operations
