Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift position in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active NM or Compact RN license.
Details- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit within a regional medical center setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Active NM state RN license or current Compact state RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- ACLS preferred but not required
- Must be able to perform prolonged standing and walking, heavy patient positioning and transfers, and repetitive physical movements including reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Visual and hearing acuity within normal or correctable limits, including color distinction and peripheral vision
- Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required
- SSN required for consideration
- Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served, ensuring quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards
- Works under the direction of a Patient Care Director or Manager
- Work environment involves exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
