Underwriting Assistant
We are seeking a smart, emotionally intelligent, and tech-savvy Underwriting Assistant to provide high-level administrative support and customer service. In this role, you will act as a Customer Service Representative (CSR), handling inbound calls and emails from clients regarding denied coverage and managing highly sensitive health information. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email regarding sensitive coverage denials.
- Perform accurate data entry and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive health history documentation.
Requirements & Details:
- Experience: Insurance or administrative experience is a major plus.
- Skills: strong technical proficiency, emotional intelligence, and professional conduct (personal phone usage is not permitted). bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Hybrid Model: In-office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday (with occasional remote Saturdays).
