Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School is seeking a skilled and collaborative Pit Orchestra Pianist for its spring production of The Sound of Music. This individual will serve as the primary accompanist for the pit orchestra, working closely with the director, vocalists, and student musicians to deliver a high-quality theatrical performance.

Key Responsibilities: --Serve as principal pianist for all rehearsals and performances

--Collaborate with the stage director, music director, and choreographer to ensure cohesive musical interpretation
--Ensure proper tempo, balance, and synchronization with onstage action

--Attend and actively participate in all required rehearsals and performances

Schedule Requirements:
--Rehearsals: Flexible scheduling in coordination with the production team (primarily evenings and/or after school)
--Tech Week (Required): April 18, April 20-24, 2026

--Performance Dates (Required): April 24, 25, and 26, 2026
