Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer III to support enterprise-level data engineering and analytics initiatives. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data architectures and ETL solutions that support business operations and analytics strategies.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent collaboration skills, and experience working within large-scale data environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data management systems and architectures
- Build and support enterprise-level ETL processes and data pipelines
- Ensure systems align with business requirements, technical standards, and industry best practices
- Develop high-performance algorithms, predictive models, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions
- Automate and optimize large-scale data workflows and integration processes
- Collaborate with data architects, modelers, analysts, and IT teams on project deliverables and technical solutions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data-related issues as needed
- Support data governance, quality, security, and integrity initiatives
- Maintain documentation related to data systems, workflows, and technical processes
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required
- Strong experience with enterprise data engineering and ETL development required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint and standard PC applications required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms and architectures preferred
- Knowledge of predictive modeling and advanced data processing techniques preferred
- Process certifications such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI preferred
- Experience supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives preferred
