Leading 290-bed Acute Care Hospital | Level II Trauma Center

Rotating Weekends

$30 – $42/hour (based on experience)

• Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hour
• Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour

• $10,000 (Day Shift)
• $15,000 (Night Shift)

Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

This role also involves patient and family education and adherence to established clinical standards and protocols.

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and clinical updates
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and care documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or compact license (Florida eligibility within 90 days of hire)
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior acute care hospital experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Recent LTAC experience not accepted
