Fleet Dispatcher – Evening Operations

zTrip is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Dispatcher to support evening transportation operations. In this role, you will oversee real-time fleet activity, coordinate driver assignments, and provide operational and customer support to ensure service runs efficiently after hours.
This position is fast-paced and highly responsible, requiring strong communication, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities throughout the evening shift.
What You’ll Do as a Fleet Dispatcher:
- Dispatch and coordinate drivers based on trip demand, availability, and scheduling needs
- Monitor active trips and quickly resolve routing, service, or operational issues in real time
- Communicate trip updates, route changes, and instructions clearly to drivers
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, trip records, and operational documentation
- Assist with evening administrative tasks, including customer support and billing-related inquiries
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
What We’re Looking for as a Fleet Dispatcher:
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or similar roles preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Good judgment and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Clear and professional communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Familiarity with dispatch or fleet management systems is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
