Sourcing Analyst
Kforce is working with a client looking to add a Sourcing Analyst to their team. Candidates must live in Greater Saint Louis, Missouri (MO) and work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite at client).
Role Purpose:The candidate will provide end-to-end support for sourcing events by assisting with tender preparation, managing bid processes, analyzing supplier responses, and maintaining standardized templates and data to ensure consistent execution.
Core Responsibilities:- Develop tender documentation, bid comparison tools, and supplier communication materials
- Coordinate timelines, inputs, and follow-ups throughout sourcing events
- Consolidate and evaluate supplier bids across key commercial and performance criteria
- Maintain templates, trackers, and data files to support repeatable sourcing processes
- Summarize results and key insights for category managers and sourcing leaders
- Take ownership of tasks and communicates clearly with stakeholders
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, analytics, or a related field
- Strong Excel skills with a structured, analytical problem-solving approach
- Exposure to RFPs, RFQs, tenders, or similar analytical work
- High attention to detail and comfort working with incomplete or imperfect data
- Clear communicator with strong execution and follow-through
- Exposure to/experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Familiarity with procurement or sourcing systems
- Prior exposure to bid analysis or tender support
- Demonstrated growth mindset with early leadership potential
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
