Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) / Med-Surg position in Brighton, CO, requiring 1 year of IMC or Med-Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details- Located on a Med-Surg / Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in a hospital setting in Brighton, CO
- 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need within scope of competency
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of IMC or Med-Surg RN experience required
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale — must not expire prior to start date
- TNCC preferred
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- English proficiency (read, write, speak) required
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as health teaching, counseling, and executing delegated medical functions
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, refers patients as needed, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two references are required for consideration
