Job Description
As a VDC Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the construction process. You'll collaborate with internal teams, design consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and execution.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for design coordination, clash detection, and construction planning.
- Support preconstruction efforts with 3D visualization, quantity takeoffs, and constructability reviews.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks and Revit.
- Assist field teams with model-based layout, sequencing, and logistics planning.
- Maintain VDC documentation and ensure model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with design teams and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Train internal teams on VDC tools and workflows.
- Research and implement emerging technologies to improve project efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
A successful VDC Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in VDC/BIM within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and design coordination.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
