Position: Civil Engineering ExpertType: Contract
Compensation: $70–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities- Construct civil engineering scenarios for large-scale infrastructure design, permitting, and construction management processes.
- Build tasks in structural design, transportation engineering, water resources, geotechnical engineering, and project management.
- Develop scenarios using tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro/ETABS, and HEC-RAS.
- Apply methodologies like structural load analysis and hydraulic modeling to US and International standards.
- Author rubrics that capture authentic civil engineering judgment.
Qualifications
Must-Have- 5+ years working as a civil engineer or engineering lead.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure designs and permitting processes.
- Fluency in civil engineering tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory approvals and public agency oversight.
- Recognized professional engineering credential (US PE, CEng, EUR ING, or P.Eng).
- Experience in rubric or engineering-training curriculum authorship.
