Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT scanning, proficiency with GE equipment and PACS, and Meditech EMR experience for a travel assignment.
Details- CT scan department in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 36/48 rotating schedule: alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts (84 hours per two-week pay period) — candidates who cannot commit to this schedule will not be considered
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current AHA BLS required
- Active compact or state license required if applicable
- Experience with GE CT equipment and PACS required
- Meditech EMR experience required
- Driver's license with address matching permanent address required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 charge-level or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
- Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; all RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
- Must be available to work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
- Travelers who have worked within the system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
- Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
- Any license issues or background check concerns must be disclosed upfront
