  1. 24-2025 - Closed Assignment Details: We are actively seeking a Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist to join a well-established healthcare facility. The position arises due to a long-term vacancy and involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be available to start on June 23, 2025, with ongoing coverage needed. Work Schedule: The position offers a structured schedule with no calls required. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour shifts. We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum of two weeks per month, with full-time availability preferred. Facility Details: The assignment is at a state-of-the-art 720-bed hospital, featuring 24 operating rooms. The facility is Level 1 Trauma certified and uses the Epic EMR system. Candidates must have experience with this system as proficiency is required. Required Skills and Certifications: Board Certification in Anesthesiology is mandatory. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. Experience in general anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, as well as regional anesthesia, is essential. Skills in central line and arterial line placement, ventilation management, and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues are necessary. Specialty Cases: General Anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and neonatal cases. Coverage for obstetrical, neurosurgical, and complex orthopedic cases (excluding cardiac cases). Ability to manage pain techniques, post-op epidurals, and perform blocks with x-ray guidance. Facility Support: The facility provides a robust support team, including anesthesiologists, LPNs, nursing staff, administrative personnel, and anesthesia technicians. There are also 3 NP/PAs on staff. Additional Information: Temporary privileges are not available; please allow 90-120 days for credentialing. Applicants must have a clean malpractice and NPDB record.
