Position Overview
Join our home health nursing team as a Homecare Registered Nurse (RN) on an 18-week travel contract based in New Albany, Indiana. This travel nurse / home health RN role serves Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott, and Washington counties and offers hands-on clinical care, patient education, and care coordination.Ideal candidates have home health or community nursing experience and familiarity with OASIS assessments and Homecare Homebase.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230 (competitive travel nurse pay)
- Location: New Albany, IN (47150) — serving Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Scott, and Washington counties
- Employment Type: Travel Contract — Home Health RN / Travel Nurse
- Contract Duration: 18 weeks (March 30, 2026 – July 31, 2026)
- Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Shift Length: 8-hour shifts, guaranteed 40 hours/week
- On-Call / Weekend: 1–2 days per week and one weekend per month
- Mileage: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs
- Active, current, non-restrictive RN license (Indiana preferred). Eligible travel nurse licensure accepted.
- CPR certification (current)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; home health, community nursing, or case management experience preferred
- Homecare Homebase experience and OASIS knowledge a plus
- Perform OASIS assessments and comprehensive patient evaluations in the home setting as part of home health care delivery
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and PICC line care, including patient and caregiver education
- Draw labs, administer treatments per plan of care, and support medication management education
- Supervise and coordinate care with LPNs and home health aides during visits
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to ensure coordinated, high-quality home care
- Document clinical findings and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and OASIS documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on safety, recovery, and independence
