Assignment Details: Specialty: Emergency Medicine Shifts: Varied, including 7a-5p, 12p-11p, 8p-7a with peds coverage from 11-10 M-F Weekend Requirements: Yes Call Type: No Estimated Shift Volume: 38,000 EMR System: Cerner Trauma Designation: Level II Certification Requirements: ATLS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine DEA PALS License Requirements: Active New York license and DEA Facility Details: Total Hospital beds: 243 Facility annual volume: 38,000 ED patient per hour: 1.7 Specialty backup: Trauma/Gen Surg, Vasc/Cardiology, GI, Psych Additional Information: All candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Candidates must have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency. Physical attendance at the Credentialing Committee meeting is mandatory. Minimum of two years of ED experience is required since this is a Level 1 trauma center.
