About Our Client
Our client is a growing engineering firm focused on power delivery (Transmission & Distribution), supporting utilities and infrastructure projects across the U.S. They are actively involved in grid modernization, renewable integration, and substation/transmission expansion projects, with a strong pipeline of work ranging from distribution to high-voltage transmission (up to 500kV+).
Job Description- Assist with design of substation and transmission systems
- Support development of:
- One-line diagrams
- Wiring diagrams & schematics
- Bill of materials
- Perform basic power system studies (load flow, short circuit, etc.)
- Support protection & controls and relay design efforts
- Utilize engineering software such as:
- AutoCAD / MicroStation
- ETAP, SKM, or ASPEN (training provided if needed)
- Assist with project documentation and technical reports
- Work closely with senior engineers and project managers

The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Electrical Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-3 years of experience (internships/co-ops welcome)
- Interest in power systems / T&D / utilities
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
