Location: Peachtree City, GAPay Range: $70,000 – $80,000 / year
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Training: Must be available to train on Day Shift initially for 1-3 weeks.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a night-shift team of 12 to 35 production operators at our plastics injection molding facility in Peachtree City. This is a skills-focused, hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and evaluate a shift of 12–35 production operators. Manage scheduling, performance tracking, and daily task assignments.
- Operations & Throughput: Oversee night-shift production to ensure cycle times, scrap reduction goals, and output targets are achieved.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols to maintain a zero-injury environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor part quality and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications, addressing any defects immediately.
- Troubleshooting & Escalation: Act as the first line of defense for floor issues, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams when technical disruptions arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Shift Adaptability: Ability to work a permanent 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am) on a 2-2-3 rotation, and flexibility to complete initial training on the day shift.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and manage floor dynamics under minimal night-shift supervision.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for cross-shift handoffs and team briefings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Expertise: Experience in plastics manufacturing, specifically with injection molding processes and auxiliary equipment.
