• Call involves 2
• 6 patients seen and 1
• 3 admissions per 24 hours
• Vein harvesting and first assisting in OR if needed
• A-line, central line, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement
• Weekend rounding with surgeon, can leave after completion
• 1:3 beeper call with 20-minute response time
• 0 - 5% call back percentage for emergencies
