Occupational Therapist – Outpatient - OTDS

Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services focused on improving patient independence and functional ability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with safety and facility standards
• Support discharge planning and follow-up care
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment

Requirements & Preferred Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Nebraska required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Less than 1 year of experience accepted
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Basic knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation practices
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
