Your skills- 5+ years of experience as a Data Center Technician, Server Technician, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of servers, switches, storage systems, and enterprise-level hardware
- Experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure
- Ability to diagnose hardware and infrastructure issues independently
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Linux, and standard enterprise tools
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites if required
- This role is a Hourly Non-Exempt position with a targeted hourly range of $26- $30, based on experience and skillsets.
Your tasks
Hemmersbach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onsite Technician at an L2 level to join our team. As an Onsite Technician, you will provide technical support to our clients at their location, working with data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support onsite to our clients at their location, with a focus on data centers, servers, and enterprise-level IT infrastructure
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for data centers, servers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, and storage systems
- Participate in project rollouts and deployments, working with data centers and other enterprise-level IT infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
