- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to understand project scope and requirements
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions
- Prepare and present bid packages and proposals to management
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, historical costs, and project data
- Assist in project handoff to operations team upon award

The Successful Applicant- +/- 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating within a general contracting environment
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and systems
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, PlanSwift, or similar)
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Highly competitive base salary - $110k - $140k
