- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; state-specific licensure required for WV travel assignments
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience; LTAC, sub-acute, or critical care experience preferred
- Experience with rehabilitation nursing, ventilator care, wound care, or complex medical-surgical patients is a plus
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work independently on night shift
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Initiate and coordinate patient teaching and discharge planning from admission
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to facility policies and evidence-based practices
- Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees; assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after orientation
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and safety
- Participate in team conferences and rehabilitation programs to support patient recovery
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC nursing
- Work in a collaborative LTAC environment focused on rehabilitation and long-term acute care
