Material Handler
Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Material Handler in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a contract opportunity, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. Job Description:
As a Material Handler, you will support the shop and customers by picking inventory parts and preparing items for safe transport while verifying and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outcoming shipments.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Marks material with identifying information and arranges stock parts in specified sequence
- Directs movement of received material to proper delivery destinations.
- Packages parts for storage or shipment, maintains appropriate files, participates in cycle
- Checks material handling equipment for defects and notifies proper personnel for repair.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous Shipping/Receiving experience
- HazMat Certification and CTPAP Certification are a plus
- SAP knowledge is a plus
