Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse needed in Ontario, Ohio! Join a dynamic acute care team in North Central Ohio and use your telemetry and medical-surgical nursing skills to provide high-quality patient care on a 13-week travel assignment.

This Travel Registered Nurse opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact each shift in a supportive med/surg telemetry hospital setting.
Job Details- Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Setting: Acute care hospital med/surg telemetry unit
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 to $2,010
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
- Call: Required if placed on call, with return-to-facility time within 1 hour
- Float: Must be willing to float as needed within the local campus network
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive Med/Surg experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required; pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with medication scanning required
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong telemetry knowledge, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Ability to work in a smoke-free facility
- Willingness to provide any requested time-off information at submission
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care environment
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications accurately and support medication scanning workflows
- Support rapid response and code team efforts when needed
- Deliver patient care with a focus on oxygen administration, airway support, and isolation precautions
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to maintain consistent, high-quality outcomes
- Float as needed to support patient care demands within the local region
- Maintain professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced travel nursing assignment
