- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Shift Time: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Floating Expectations: First to float
- On-Call: No on-call required
- Holiday Expectations: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
- Active RN license
- 2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required
- Experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and inotropes
- Preferred experience with complex congenital cardiac post-op patients
- Preferred experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and HeartMate III
- BLS and PALS required
- Experience titrating drips required
- Epic experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, team-based ICU environment
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients with complex and critical conditions
- Monitor and manage patients with congenital heart disease, heart failure, myocarditis, and cardiomyopathy
- Assess and respond to changes in patient condition using invasive monitoring and advanced ICU therapies
- Titrate drips and support ventilator management as directed by the care plan
- Care for post-operative congenital cardiac patients and other high-acuity pediatric cardiac cases
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, high-quality outcomes
- Follow unit protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to efficient patient care flow
