Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Laboratory - Medical Lab Tech (MLT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Perform gross examination and dissection of all specimen types and sizes, including large specimens.
- Document grossing experience with clarity and precision in reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of laboratory tasks and submissions.
- Maintain a high standard of quality assurance and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other medical staff as required.
- Adapt to floating between campus laboratories to meet operational needs.
- PA (ASCP) certification and valid Florida license required.
- 5+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Expertise in grossing all specimen types and sizes, including complex oncology cases.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced medical environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
