  • Shift: 8-hour Night Shifts
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Duration: 8 weeks (Start: 5/9/2026 – End: 7/4/2026)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,400 (competitive travel nurse pay)
  • Floating: Must be willing to float within L&D
  • Weekend/Holiday: Coverage as needed
  • On-Call: None
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in perinatal or obstetrics nursing
  • Active Minnesota RN license required
  • BLS (AHA only)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • EFM (electronic fetal monitoring) basic and intermediate certification
  • Willingness to float within L&D to support unit needs
  • Required application materials: resume, active license/certifications, skills checklist, and prescreening questionnaire
  • No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
  • Note: New graduates are not accepted for this travel nurse assignment
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
  • Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status using EFM and clinical judgment throughout labor and delivery
  • Perform neonatal and maternal assessments, including immediate newborn care and stabilization as needed
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide interventions as prescribed
  • Accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record for maternal and newborn care
  • Float within the L&D unit to support staffing needs and ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required
