IT Project Manager
Description
One of TEKsystems's clients, a large and growing organization in the energy sector, is looking for a mid-level Project Manager to join their PMO organization. We are looking for a traditional, hands-on project manager with 1-3 years of demonstrated project management experience.The PMO handles a combination of IT and business-related projects, and the ideal candidate would have experience with both, but it's not a requirement. The candidate needs to have experience with all phases of a project lifecycle -- creating project plans, resource planning, identifying risks and dependencies, building schedules, stakeholder management, tracking issues, etc.
Initially, the candidate will project manage some low-end projects in terms of complexity including an internal project dealing with HRIS tool implementation. Any experience with PM tools such as OnePlan, Monday, Asana, etc., is needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Since this PM will join a PMO, any experience within a PMO is a plus. No certifications are required, although a CAPM or PMP or some other formal training would be a plus. Initially, the PM will be onsite to learn the environment, build relationships with team members and stakeholders, etc., but then earn the opportunity to work in a hybrid 50-50 model.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
