Nightwing is seeking to hire a cleared Field Service Professional with a specialized background in the electrical trade to work at our Springfield, Virginia location.
The successful applicant will have a background in the construction and trades industry. The applicant will work with other experienced personnel in a cross-functional team environment to create and take innovative solutions from conceptualization through prototype development.
Responsibilities include training, testing, procedure development, testbed configuration prep, and fabrication of testbed structures. The applicant will have a strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members to refine procedures and designs.
Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Required Skills * Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance eligible for access on day 1

- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in the electrical trade at the Journeyman level or higher
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical systems, with working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, HVAC or mechanical assembly preferred
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in restricted mobility areas and confined spaces
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to travel to local and out of state assignments (less than 10% travel)
- Compliance with Nightwing's Silica Monitoring Program
- Willingness to apply for Nightwing's Non-Commercial & DOT Driving Programs
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare written training documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint) Desired Skills * Medium and/or heavy equipment operator
- Military or special operations experience
