Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT/Rad Tech for a weekend night shift travel assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in rural southwest Colorado, requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and at least 2 years of recent experience.
Details- Critical Access Hospital imaging/radiology department serving a rural mountain community supporting emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
- Weekend night shift schedule: Friday through Sunday, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Cerner EHR and PACS used for order review, documentation, and image workflow; Cerner experience is required
- No on-call requirement
- Holiday coverage may be required when holidays fall within the scheduled shift
- Floating within imaging scope may be required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT and diagnostic radiology experience
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required
- Current AHA BLS required
- Active Colorado state radiology license required (license required if applicable)
- Cerner EHR experience required — no exceptions
- Must be able to work independently on night shift — no exceptions
- Critical Access Hospital or rural hospital experience preferred
- Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures per physician orders and imaging protocols, including proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
- Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient care
- Must be comfortable working independently during night shifts in a rural healthcare environment
