Material Handler - (Standup Reach)

Responsibilities

The Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by receiving, storing, moving, and staging materials accurately and safely. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing outbound shipments, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring materials are available to support production and customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments; verify materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks, loading docks, storage areas, and production areas.
• Store materials in assigned locations using pallets, cargo boards, and proper storage methods.
• Prepare, pick, stage, and verify outgoing shipments to ensure order accuracy and timely dispatch.
• Review pick sheets and customer orders to pull correct materials and quantities.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and related tools to track inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by identifying, cataloging, and recording material locations.
• Record daily inventory movements and units handled using production or inventory tracking sheets.

1. 2 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics preferred • Previous standup forklift experience required
