Basic Requirements – MRI Tech
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
Experience performing MRI scans of brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal studies
Experience in acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma, and ICU settings
Familiarity with MRI post-processing and advanced imaging techniques
Licensure / Certifications:
ARRT (MR) certification required
BLS certification required
State license required (if applicable)
Skills:
Experience with MRI procedures including brain, MRA/MRV, abdomen, pelvis, and spine imaging
Ability to perform MRCP, cranial nerve, orbit, and soft tissue neck studies
Knowledge of diffusion imaging, perfusion imaging, and gradient echo imaging
Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), MIP, and image post-processing
Ability to perform contrast administration and start peripheral IVs
Experience scanning musculoskeletal studies including shoulder, knee, hip, and extremities
Equipment / Systems:
Experience with GE MRI scanners
Familiarity with PACS systems
Epic charting experience required.
