Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Special Procedures Tech - Radiology
Job Details:
- Work alternating shift schedules: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- On-call requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
- Work with 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN in a 2:1 patient ratio
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including 4 Siemens Bi-plane units and 1 Siemens Single plane unit
- Use Meditech EMR system and GE Centricity PACS
- Must be a graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology
- ARRT certification required along with BLS certification
- Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with minimal guidance required
- Experience with neurointervention procedures preferred (strokes, aneurysms, SAH)
- Work in fast-paced interventional lab performing comprehensive stroke center procedures
- Handle Level 1 Trauma Center cases including GIB, embos, gastronomy tubes, nephrostomy procedures
- Must be self-motivated and work effectively in team environment
- Required dress code: black scrubs
