As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will work under the supervision of teachers and service providers to deliver instructional, behavioral, and personal care support in classroom settings. Responsibilities * Assist in classroom instruction and supervision
- Support students with feeding, toileting, and positioning
- Monitor and document student behavior and progress
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
- Implement behavior intervention plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA regulations
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Demonstrate cultural competence and professionalism
