We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.Kadiak, LLC is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with a Top-Secret Clearance in Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL to act as primary contact between our office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) The Fire Alarm Technician will have essential multi- discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, design oriented, and customer focused.
Responsibilities:- The Fire Alarm Technician shall be minimum National Institute of Certification in Engineering Technology (NICET) level II Certified Manufacturer trained and experienced in the most current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Codes and Unified Facilities Codes (UFC) Standards regarding inspection, testing and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Transmitter Panels receiver and repeater (Kingfisher) and Wet and Dry Fire Suppression Systems.
- The Fire Alarm Technician shall meet the service qualification requirements in the most current edition of NFPA's 25 and 72 and hold at least a NICET Level 2 or higher (Associate Engineering Technician).
- The Fire Alarm Technician shall have experience in the past two years of building and equipment comparable to the buildings and equipment covered by this contract.
- The Fire Alarm Technician shall be factory trained NICET Level II and currently certified for the operating system, including software version, of the particular fire alarm system, and shall provide documentation of this certification to Program Manager, Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) Marine Corp Fire Inspector.
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
- NICET Level II or higher
- Relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility in programs of similar size, scope and complexity that include Central Utility Plant operations.
