Chief of Staff (Technology / Infrastructure) for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial clients in Dallas, TX. Onsite: 5 days/week (non-negotiable). Hours: Aligned to Eastern Time (approx 7:30 CT start / 8:30am ET)Position Overview:
This is a high-priority, confidential hire supporting a Senior IT Executive responsible for technology and infrastructure initiatives across multiple business lines. This role functions as a direct extension of the executive, requiring a highly versatile, execution-focused operator who can independently drive initiatives across infrastructure, technology, finance, reporting, and risk.
The individual will absorb day-to-day operational and strategic responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution across a complex, enterprise environment.
Responsibilities :
- Act as a direct extension of the executive, managing day-to-day execution, prioritization, and follow-through on key technology and infrastructure initiatives
- Lead and drive cross-functional initiatives spanning infrastructure, operations, and enterprise technology teams
- Develop executive-level reporting, presentations, and business commentary for senior leadership forums
- Own and resolve ad hoc issues independently, particularly those impacting infrastructure delivery and operations
- Coordinate across infrastructure domains including networks, servers, cloud, end-user computing, and data center operations
- Translate technical and operational data into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders
- Track and manage key deliverables, risks, dependencies, and timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Operate fluidly across technology, finance, reporting, and risk functions without deep specialization in a single domain
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Management, Program Management, or similar role supporting technology or infrastructure organizations
- Strong background within financial services (banking, capital markets, or similar regulated environments)
- Demonstrated ability to independently run initiatives end-to-end with minimal direction
- Broad understanding of infrastructure and enterprise technology environments (networks, cloud, servers, end-user computing)
- Strong executive communication skills, including presentation development and delivery to senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business and operational insights
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution discipline
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment with shifting priorities
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience supporting an MD, CIO, or senior infrastructure leadership
- Experience within large, global enterprise environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure financials, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Exposure to risk, audit, and regulatory frameworks related to technology
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
