Mechanical Design Engineer
Global Manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Allentown, PA! Develop new product ideas from initial concept to production launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams and Sales to bring mechanical components to market.
You will bring engineering lab experience in prototyping, rapid design validation or product inspections. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar, experience with piping, pressure vessels or fluid controls and SolidWorks. responsibilities:
- Develop initial conceptual product designs and FEA models into production ready parts
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, lab and sales to bring products to market
- Analyze designs in Abaqus, 3D scanning or SolidWorks to optimize design process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Similar
- 5+ years of piping, pressure vessel or fluid control design
- Abaqus preferred, working knowledge in SolidWorks, Python or 3D scanning
