Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Iowa requiring active BLS and NIHSS certifications, with both an Iowa and Illinois RN license required.
Details- Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Uses Epic EMR
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
- Active IA RN license required; compact RN license accepted
- Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
- One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates in the Madison area may be considered at a reduced rate
- Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
- RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week (11/26–11/30) and 1 day during the winter holiday period (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
