GI Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract

Location: Petaluma, California

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled GI Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Petaluma, CA. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care throughout gastrointestinal procedures and recovery.

• Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 13-Week Contract

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures
• Prepare patients for GI procedures including assessments and pre-procedure education
• Assist physicians during endoscopic and GI lab procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and recovery
• Administer medications and sedation as appropriate within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and procedural staff to ensure safe patient care
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and procedural protocols

• Active RN license required
• Previous GI Lab, Endoscopy, or procedural nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a procedural care environment
