Job Details
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and behavioral health support as part of a collaborative community health team.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments and evidence-based medication management
- Provide behavioral health services, psychoeducation and follow-up care to patients
- Provide Medication Assisted Treatment when appropriate
- Work closely with psychotherapists, primary care physicians and support staff
- Participate in case conferences, departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric advanced practice providers and trainees
- Complete patient documentation accurately and within required timelines
- Medical Degree required
- Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency required
- Board certified or eligible for board certification in Psychiatry
- Valid California medical license required
- Current California Drug Enforcement Administration licensure required
- Current Basic Life Support certification required through an American Heart Association approved source
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work with confidential information in a professional and ethical manner
